Job Description:
Duties: Supports the testing of Fidelity automation, web
services, electronic messaging, and brokerage infrastructure components
delivered to internal and external applications. Primary Responsibilities: • Works with Project Management and Service Management to
provide detailed cost analysis for discretionary and C&M
projects. • Establishes metrics to report on status/dashboard correctly
and accurately. • Produces project/requirements handoff package for Test Composition team. • Facilitates requirement review feedback loop. • Generates automated burn down template to track project execution. • Fulfills release facilitation / release coordinator role. • Creates and maintains Test Plan template; interprets and analyzes project requirements; and seeks requirement
clarifications. • Collaborates with Automation team to determine test case candidates for Automation and composes manual test cases in
Quality Center for functionality that cannot be automated. • Composes test case outlines in Quality Center for test
cases which can be automated – utilizing best practices for efficient
and complete test cases to facilitate a swift automation
process. • Reviews design specifications and escalates potential issues
to development and business sponsors. • Participates in the definition, implementation, and
continuous improvement of policies, processes, and procedures to deliver
a consistent and reliable product to businesses and customers. • Performs first level triage on defects arising from manual
test efforts and on environment or code issues which are blocking
automation efforts. • Monitors environment issues impacting project execution
and automation and facilitates closure. • Works in conjunction with functional groups to identify potential future improvements to the overall process,
requirements gathering, documentation, and test templates. • Develops test plans and test cases to test system
enhancements and improvements. • Develops and executes automated and manual tests using
Selenium, SoapUI, UFT, and Quality Center. • Executes test plans according to published project plan. • Researches and resolves system related issues. • Creates defects generated by manual and automated test
case execution for Test Composition review, adhering to best
practices for complete and thoroughly documented defects. • Maintains metrics for project testing status. • Provides status reports and summary signoff reports. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and
three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience performing Java-based testing. Or, alternatively, Master’s
degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science,
Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics,
Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job
offered or one (1) year of experience performing Java-based testing.
Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing
and developing automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver for
managed account platforms and products for client experience
applications; DE programming in advanced Java, writing build scripts using Maven,
and performing data validation using Oracle Database and Splunk; DE
using Jenkins for continuous integration and using git stash for
source control management within a Waterfall or Agile development
environment; DE executing functional testing; performing requirement
analysis; designing test approaches, test plans, and work estimations;
