experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a manufacturing
company based in Martinsville, Virginia. This leadership role
requires a strategic thinker who can oversee financial operations,
provide insightful analysis, and contribute to the company's
long-term success. The CFO will collaborate closely with the
executive team and play a vital role in shaping financial
strategies and processes. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the
accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely completion of the
month-end close process. • Oversee the preparation and analysis of
financial statements and reports to provide actionable insights. •
Develop and implement financial strategies to support
organizational goals and growth. • Partner with the IT department
to enhance reporting systems and streamline financial operations. •
Establish and monitor plant reporting processes to improve
operational transparency. • Prepare annual budgets and quarterly
forecasts while ensuring alignment with company objectives. •
Manage relationships with bankers, auditors, and third-party
service providers to maintain financial stability. • Conduct
detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and optimize
cash flow. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and
regulatory requirements. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
within financial reporting and processes. • Bachelor's degree in
Accounting or a related field. • Minimum of 10 years of experience
in financial leadership roles. • Expertise in month-end close
processes, financial reporting, and analysis. • Proficiency in
preparing financial statements and managing budgets and forecasts.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow management and strategic financial
planning. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
and reporting. • Familiarity with financial systems and tools to
enhance operational efficiency. • Previous experience in
manufacturing or similar industries is preferred.
