following job description: The Director of CSBB Business Management
is responsible for leading Consumer and Small Business Banking
(CSBB) and Strategic Execution & Business Performance (SEBP)
operating routines, key initiatives, and “run the business”
activities along with SEBP governance in partnership with the
Business Unit Risk Executive (BURE) team. This role will enable
both the CSBB and the Chief CSBB Officer and Head of SEBP to
operate more efficiently and achieve CSBB’s strategic objectives.
This role will help to coordinate CSBB’s strategic agenda,
leadership routines, communication and other activities aligned
with CSBB’s strategic priorities in partnership with the senior
leadership team. This role will have frequent interaction with the
CSBB leadership team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.

1. Work with Head of CSBB Strategy, Execution & Business
Performance (SEBP) to implement the strategic agenda and develop
and execute leadership routines (e.g. weekly Purpose to Performance
(P2P) meetings, monthly leadership team meetings for CSBB and
SEBP). 2. Act as an extension of the Head of SEBP, connecting teams
across CSBB and other LOBs to drive successful execution of
strategic priorities. Work closely with SEBP team to manage CSBB’s
portfolio of strategic priorities and ensure the leadership team is
tackling the highest priority items that drive business
performance. 3. Serve as point of contact in coordination with the
BURE, BUCRO, and other risk partners on key governance activities.
Promote an internal risk culture that encourages
self-identification, promoting various risk initiatives and
supporting metrics, and the maturity of various aligned business
and risk committees/councils. 4. Lead SEBP-specific strategic
initiatives by providing project and program management oversight
across key risk, governance, and operational efforts, including
prioritization, funding requests, benefits realization, and regular
reporting of project status and outcomes. 5. Responsible for
optimizing risk and governance effectiveness through the close
alignment of business strategy, operating plans, and critical
program execution. Provide leadership and oversight for execution
of the SEBP controls function with significant emphasis on risk
management, compliance, and legal/regulatory expectations. 6. Own
CSBB calendar of events and proactively manage all activities to
ensure CSBB’s leadership team operates effectively given its scale.
7. Prepare executive communications and presentations for the CSBB
and SEBP leadership, including regular town halls, leadership
meetings, and leadership offsites. 8. Partner and coordinate with
teams across Truist and key functions including Legal, Risk,
Technology, Corporate Real Estate, and others, to educate and align
on business initiatives and the execution of activities on behalf
of CSBB. Work closely with Corporate Communications team to review
and provide input on CSBB communications (e.g. Inside CSBB). 9.
Work with Finance and Human Capital partners to manage SEBP budget
and human capital requirements (e.g. FTE management, hiring
practices, teammate engagement initiatives, performance management,
talent calibration). 10. Provide leadership in maximizing teammate
engagement across CSBB, optimizing teammate retention and helping
CSBB become both an employment destination and exporter of talent
to Truist more-broadly. 11 Influence CSBB’s strategic agenda by
being an objective thought partner to senior leaders. 12. Lead
development and management of the SEBP scorecard and partner with
SEBP leaders to track and drive accountability to performance
expectations and goals, to support delivery of OKRs. 13. Create an
inclusive, engaging, and energizing team environment, aligned with
the Truist Purpose, Mission and Values, that empowers teammates to
learn, grow, and have meaningful careers. Execute on managerial
responsibilities and strategic priorities with excellence in a
timely manner creating a differentiated experience to ensure SEBP’s
areas of focus are operationalized throughout the team at all
levels. 14. Attract, retain and promote top talent and build a
robust slate of credible successors for key leadership positions
and opportunities across Truist. Qualifications Required
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of
the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable

Business, or equivalent education and related training or
experience. 2. 15 years relevant work experience in administration,
operations, risk management, management consulting or in the
financial services industry. 3. Demonstrated ability to collaborate

goals and create influence without authority. 4. Demonstrated
ability to communicate effectively and confidently and to work well
in cross-functional teams. 5. Proven track record demonstrating a
high level of personal initiative, setting, and achieving

developmental feedback from peers and managers. 7. Ability to work
in a fast-paced, matrixed environment while having a high level of
attention to detail. 8. Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Graduate degree in Business, Finance,
or equivalent academic field preferred. 2. Financial Services
experience preferred. 3. Deep knowledge of consumer, small
business, direct banking. 4. Graduate Banking School or other
