Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Please review the
following job description: Responsible for fulfillment of
commercial loans, reviewing files and collecting information for
adherence to regulatory, compliance, policies and procedures for
all due diligence, legal documentation, funding, booking and lien
perfection items. Act as a liaison between front line, credit
approvers, attorneys, title agents, third party vendors and other
internal departments to ensure an accurate and timely closing while
maintaining the ban’s risk and controls. Prior Commercial servicing
experience desired. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Lead
communication with key members of the commercial front line as well
as credit partners and other internal partners to ensure consistent
application of the Bank’s procedures and processes. 2. Responsible
for efficient delivery of services to internal and external clients
for all related activities including, but not limited to, due
diligence processing, documentation processing, closing, funding
and post-closing functions. 3. Support the commercial lending
process by producing legal and supporting documentation required
for closing various types of commercial transactions through timely
and accurate input to internal systems. Manage documentation risk
by ensuring documentation is in compliance with credit approval,
secure a valid lien, and confirm that all pre-closing requirements
are satisfied. 4. Manage documentation quality to ensure it meets
or exceeds Bank’s exception rate goal by identifying required loan
documentation for various loan types and pledged collateral,
consistently monitor exception activity and provide timely
follow-up and clearing of exceptions. 5. Provide clear verbal and
written communication to third parties, (e.g. internal clients,
attorneys, insurance agents), as needed. 6. Facilitate complex
and/or specialized external loan closings (e.g. attorney closings,
tax exempt, government bonds, SBA), process executed loan
documentation for booking, accurately disburse loan proceeds,
secure lien positions and submit completed loan packages to Loan
Services in a timely manner. 7. Provide superior service to
internal clients by taking ownership of client needs and requests
and following through to ensure timely and accurate resolution. 8.
Keep up to date on Truist’s regulatory and compliance policies and
procedures as well as footprint states legal requirements.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: The requirements listed
below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability

1. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple
tasks independently under tight time constraints 2. Advanced
commercial credit knowledge including loan closings, legal
documentation and exceptions 3. Advanced proficiency in reviewing
title work, surveys, collateral, lien filings, appraisals and
environmental reports 4. Knowledge of commercial loan systems 5.
Ability to manage a queue of 20-35 deals with various product
types, requirements and documentation deadlines 6. Ability to
mentor, coach and/or train peers on all aspects of commercial
processes, systems and procedures 7. Post-Secondary education, or
equivalent work experience 8. Prior experience or knowledge of loan
closing and lending regulatory requirements for large financial
institutions 9. Minimum 7 years experience in banking, finance,
credit operations, loan consultation or administration 10. Minimum
7 years experience in the execution of legal documentation and
associated processes 11. Demonstrated effective verbal and written
communication skills for the purpose of explaining the loan closing
process, funding, booking, exceptions and associated legal
documentation to internal clients, external clients and appropriate
counsel Preferred Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree or
certificate in related field 2. Experience in all loan closing
components including documentation, approvals, exceptions and
administration 3. Experience with highly complex or specialty
commercial transactions 4. Professional license or specialized
training in escrow, title, real estate, government programs (SBA
and EXIM), and specialized lending programs General Description of
