Location Burlington, North Carolina Job ID 18-84182 Date posted 08/08/2018 LabCorp is seeking a Sr. Project Analyst/ IT Project Financial Analyst for it's Burlington, NC location. Contributing in the IT PMO (Project Management Office) as an IT Project Financial Analyst, this position will assist in the continued development of IT department methodologies with systems/processes that will bring visibility to IT project portfolio financials. The candidate will have responsibility for financial analysis, budget and forecast preparation of IT projects in partnership with and support of multiple leaders across the IT group. The candidate should be customer centric and be able to balance the demands of a growing IT and business environment where fiscal discipline and operational ingenuity drive how things should be done. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, system savvy, have the ability to learn and adopt new methods quickly and have Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) experience in a corporate setting with proven data analysis and modeling skills. Responsibilities: Create and publish monthly IT Project Financial reports (accurate, timely and efficient) Responsible for IT Labor Capitalization process (time sheet compliance, oversight to ensure accuracy of accounting treatment of tasks, monthly General Ledger entry) Provide financial support and guidance to the IT Project Managers in the planning, approval and tracking of projects from inception to successful completion Ability to partner with IT Finance and Corporate Accounting at a technical accounting and process workflow level to ensure project actuals are captured in the system accurately Partner with subsidiary companies, IT Finance and IT technical resources for continuous process improvement in the use of tools/systems used to track, plan and report the IT project portfolio financials (e.g. PeopleSoft, Hyperion, Clarity PPM, Excel) Prepare Ad-Hoc Financial analysis as needed Requirements BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business 1 - 3 years relevant experience Data Management - expert at managing data (Export, Format and Summarize data for upload or reporting using common Excel methods: Pivot Tables, Lookups, Concatenation, etc.) Data Modeling - analytical abilities to build excel models that will lend to efficient repeatable process that support reporting and decision making Excellent communication, highly organized, detail oriented individual with the ability to multi-task and take responsibility and execute with minimal oversight Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, communicate tactfully and effectively Excellent skillset in Excel and knowledge of Hyperion and PPM tools is a plus Shift1 ScheduleMonday through Friday 8-5 Apply Now Share * Facebook * Twitter * LinkedIn * Email Location Check out where you could be working if you apply.
