Labcorp is looking to hire a writer with a strong understanding of healthcare and the challenges healthcare executives are facing in this everchanging landscape. -The ideal candidate will have a deep curiosity about Labcorp's customers and the ability to create compelling content to help Labcorp communicate on top-of-mind issues with our health systems, managed care and employer customers. -

The -senior writer will be skilled and versatile with at least 6-8 years of experience writing for business audiences in either healthcare, pharmaceutical, biology, health technology, or any related biological sciences or health discipline. This role is responsible for working with the marketing team and business executives on a range of projects including white papers, case studies, blogs, e-mail, websites and additional content types. This person must be a fast learner, a creative, visual writer with a passion for creating content for all channels and audiences, who is able to grasp complex subjects and write clear, concise copy. Previous experience writing for business audiences in a similar role at a corporation, agency or as a journalist is necessary.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Research, interview, and create content in customer-friendly formats. The materials may include whitepapers, case studies, infographics, blogs, webinar content, e-mail, websites, digital, social, and video scripts, etc.
• Meet and interview subject matter experts to create compelling content that may appear on various channels.
• Enable business leaders and sales teams with support -decks, case studies, customer communications and other collateral
• Understand business objectives, brand standards and target audience as content is being created.
• Interact with leadership and subject matter experts and take primary responsibility for writing complex, multi-faceted projects/articles that require extensive preparation. Meet with stakeholders to run content meetings to assess opportunities.
• Work with Integrated Marketing and Product/Segment Marketing to maintain a content calendar.
• Working with both product and integrated marketers, research and write a diverse range of written materials to support marketing campaigns
• Continue to build out the expertise on the content team with guidelines, templates, and other standards
• Work on and manage multiple writing projects at a time, with the ability to track using a project management tool such as Workfront
• Research the audience and market and leverage SEO and design teams for optimized content.
  
  Requirements:
  • The -senior writer will be skilled and versatile with at least 6-8 years of experience writing for business audiences in either healthcare, pharmaceutical, biology, health technology, or any related biological sciences or health discipline.
  • Strong proficiency and understanding of web content, keywords, and other digital best practices
  • Ability to be flexible and write both long and short forms copy.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to engage and excite audiences
  • A track record of collaborating and developing strong relationships with senior leaders and colleagues
  • An understanding of industry trends
  • Ability to effectively employ brand voice, as well as best practices for user experience and readability
  • Ability to manage a high volume of products and thrive in a fast-paced environment with constant deadlines
