Job Description Job Description About SMFG The Smoke Manufacturer (SMFG) is a startup white label hemp manufacturer specializing in different consumer packaged goods. Our goal is to position for full legalization while becoming a fully vertically integrated business. Along with pre-rolls, vape carts, gummies, and packaged flower, we also provide cigarette manufacturing with an array of options. Our team has over 100 years of combined cannabis experience. The SMFG team is laser focused on building a positive culture that works hard and plays hard. About the Position The role is based at the manufacturing office located in NoDa, Charlotte, NC. Main duties of this position will include, but not limited to: creating digital content for social media in partnership with our marketing manager and design team; assist the design team with creating product packaging suites for various brands, sales collateral in both digital and print form; have the ability to work off of and share accessible adobe files within the design team; and collaborate with the design team to create brand assets and contribute ideas to the branding process. You will also be involved in writing content and other administrative duties. This role is about ensuring the success of all brand-related marketing campaigns and creative support to The Smoke Manufacturer. This is a full time position with pay starting at $3,200/month. Job Requirements & Responsibilities Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign 1-3yrs (Required) Social Media Content Creation 1-3yrs (Required) Print/Packaging Design Experience 1-3yrs (Required) Design for Advertising 1-3yrs (Preferred) Positive attitude with a track record of being reliable & ethically sound Disciplined and detail oriented with an eye for design Fast learner and able to work in a fast paced environment Open to constructive critique while able to delivery critique A good listener, and effective communicator Able to meet desired deadlines US work authorization (Required) *Job responsibilities may change to meet the growing needs of the business *We are looking for an Illustrator and Indesign wiz! Strong Candidate Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field is a plus Video and/or After-Effects experience a plus Advanced organizational skills and computer skills in DropBox, Asana, Google Dashboard (Docs, Sheets, Mail, Drive) Interest in gaining experience with photography and social media management
