Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists within a
K-12 school setting in Vinton, VA. This role involves working with
a diverse caseload of students across all grades, from kindergarten
through 12th grade. Successful candidates will have experience in
school-based speech-language pathology, and credentials may include
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certifications such as CFY or
CCC. Key Responsibilities: - Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and
treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for
students across K-12 grade levels. - Develop and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with
teachers and other educational professionals. - Maintain accurate
records of student progress and participate in multidisciplinary
team meetings. - Deliver services in accordance with state and
federal educational guidelines. Desired Qualifications: -
Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a
school setting. - Experience working with a K-12 student
population. - Ability to manage a full-time caseload effectively. -
Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Completion of
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or holding Communication Certificate
of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred. Position Details: -
Number of openings: 6 - Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week -
Location: Vinton, Virginia - Position duration: School Year (NSY)
