Job Description:
Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team, serving
in a school setting. In this role, you will be instrumental in
helping students with various speech and language disorders achieve
optimal communication skills and academic success. You will work
closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to create
and implement individualized therapy plans that cater to the needs
of each student. This position requires expertise in
speech-language pathology, a passion for educational achievement,
and a commitment to enhancing student life. Assess students' speech
and language abilities and identify needs. Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans based on each student's needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to
promote student development. Monitor and document students'
progress and adjust plans as needed. Provide consultation and
guidance to school staff on how to support students' speech and
language development. Participate in IEP meetings and provide
recommendations for speech therapy goals. Educate family members on
how to support the student's communication skills at home. Strong
understanding of speech disorders and therapy techniques. Ability
to create and follow through with individualized therapy plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to
work collaboratively in an educational setting. Knowledge of IEP
process and special education regulations. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASHA Certificate of Clinical
Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state
license in Speech-Language Pathology Background check and
fingerprint clearance as per state requirements
