Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Virginia
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a
full-time contract position in Lexington, VA, serving an elementary
through high school age group. This role offers an engaging
opportunity to provide direct speech and language therapy services
in a school setting, addressing diverse student needs with a focus
on developing communication skills. Responsibilities include
evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with speech,
language, and communication impairments. The primary caseload is
estimated at 3040 students, with additional secondary and tertiary
caseloads ranging from 2035 students. The position requires
collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals to
develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement therapy
strategies tailored to each student's needs. The SLP will work 37.5
hours per week, five days a week, ensuring consistent intervention
and progress monitoring. Qualifications: - Virginia Licensed
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential required - Experience
working with elementary through high school students preferred -
Ability to manage a caseload of 5075 students including primary and
secondary levels - Strong communication and collaboration skills -
Familiarity with school-based therapy regulations and documentation
