Job Title: TPM Manager / Reliability Engineer
Location: Burlington, NC
Job Type and Duration: Direct Hire
Pay rate: 85-120k
The Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Manager will be responsible
for building, leading, and executing client's TPM program to drive
operational and equipment efficiencies and assisting in
transforming the workplace.
Principles will include but are not limited to: Autonomous
Maintenance (AM), Planned Maintenance (PM), Focused Improvement
(FI), and Early Management (EM).
This role is a global role and will assist the plant leadership in
the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles
at our three manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Build and create the overall TPM plan implementation across the
network. Responsibilities will include supporting Autonomous
Maintenance (AM), Focused Improvement (FI), Planned Maintenance
(PM), and Early Management (EM).
- Implement and lead the AM Pillar. Provide support to the
autonomous work groups aimed at KPI improvements and assist the
autonomous work groups development through TPM Pillars and
mentoring.
- Improve and lead the PM Pillar. Provide support to the
maintenance work groups and maintenance system developments across
all the manufacturing sites. Builds capability in the PM team to
effectively plan, schedule, and execute work; install and sustain
the Breakdown Elimination.
- Assist in developing the Focused Improvement Pillar and help
drive a team-based and data driven culture. Utilize and analyze
data to make informed decisions that help support business
needs.
- Maintains communication with other facilities in sharing "best
practices to drive results and capability development.
- Provide leadership and partner with our site leaders to improve
our manufacturing lines. Participate in the development of
strategies to achieve OEE objectives through loss elimination and
capability building.
- Coordinate with other functional areas to ensure accomplishment
of overall strategic and plant objectives.
- Understand and apply Key Performance Indicators and financial
drivers.
- Provides tracking and regular communication to various plant
functions and teams regarding TPM implementation progress.
- Builds capability by developing and executing training for
operations, leadership and plant associates on methodologies,
systems, and tools.
- Promotes a change of culture within the group/site especially
at the front-line level.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required skills:
- TPM Implementation experience and working knowledge of AM, PM,
FI, and EM Pillars
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Analytically minded.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the
organization.
- Experience in planning and managing priorities.
- Skills and experience in leading cross-functional teams across
all levels of the organization
- Building effective relationships amongst all levels of the
organization
- Being a change management agent
Required Experience:
- Must have a strong working knowledge of Total Productive
Maintenance (TPM) principles and experience with Autonomous
Maintenance (AM), Planned Maintenance (PM), Focused Improvement
(FI), and Early management (EM). Must also have strong experience
in leading and managing the TPM implementation across multiple
sites.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing
Engineering, or technical/business field
- 3-5 years minimal of TPM experience in a manufacturing
environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Food or food packaging manufacturing background
preferred.
- General knowledge of ERP and CMMS systems
- Formal Lean Six Sigma experience preferred
- Maintenance management experience a plus.
