Job Description:
Our client, a leader in automotive technology and manufacturing,
is seeking a dedicated IH Technician to join their team. As an IH
Technician, you will be an integral part of the Engineering
Department supporting technical operations and process
improvements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong
problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive
approach to continuous improvement, which will align successfully
within the organization. Relocation is provided along with full
benefits. Job Title: IH Technician Location: Raleigh, North
Carolina Pay Range: $73,000 - $106,000 DOE plus benefits,
relocation What's the Job? Perform functions related to induction
hardening (IH), including reading prints and understanding
metallurgical specifications. Review metallurgical data, diagnose
equipment and tooling issues, and collaborate with technicians and
maintenance teams to resolve problems. Support subcontractors for
manufacturing, repair, and technical projects related to IH
processes. Train and evaluate technical leads for IH operations,
ensuring adherence to quality standards. Assist engineering in
closing gaps to client standards, supporting new programs, PPAP,
and process development activities. What's Needed? Minimum of 2
years of experience in heat treat operations or relevant
metallurgical education and experience. Experience with induction
harding (IH), machining and production and a variety of materials
including wood, metals and plastics Ability to function as a
technical leader supporting IH technicians, production teams, and
metallurgical lab staff. Knowledge of metallurgical testing
techniques and safety codes related to IH processes. Experience
with setting up and operating induction hardening equipment,
robotics, and testing instruments is desirable. What's in it for
