Job Description Job Description Description: Project Engineer I
– Substation Automation (SCADA) performs a variety of routine
tasks, which provide experience and familiarity with engineering
staff, methods, practices and programs. Project Engineer I –
Substation Automation (SCADA) works under close supervision but is
expected to have some level of independence with required
engineering tasks. Requirements: Computer networking knowledge and
experience. Experience with Wireshark, PLC/RTU programming (SEL,
Eaton, Orion, Schneider), and VBA preferred. Skilled at debugging
and documenting existing code, and/or creating new code. Experience
with Networking Routing/Switching, Object Oriented coding
(Structured Text, comparable to C), HMI Graphical Interface design
preferred. Assist in development of plans, specifications and
inspection reports. Understanding of electrical one-lines and
reading schematics preferred. Ability to confidently and correctly
explain technical directions to coworkers and clients. Performs
basic functions of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Willingness to travel ~25% to 50%, infrequent overnight stays.
Performs other related duties incidental to the work described

classified. Minimum Qualifications: B.S. degree in Electrical
Engineering required. Zero to two years of applicable experience
required. Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
