Job Description Job Description Job Summary The Electrical
Technician reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for
the electrical assembly, wiring, controls testing, calibration, and
troubleshooting of ultra?precision machines and related products.
This role involves working with circuits, control systems, sensors,
and instrumentation, with occasional support of mechanical tasks.
Core Responsibilities • Assembles and wires electrical
sub?assemblies, cables, connectors, sensors, and control modules. •
Integrates electrical components within mechanical systems (motors,
actuators, sensors) and ensures seamless operation. • Performs
motor tuning and optimization, including parameter setup, dynamic
response adjustments, and verifying stability under load. •
Configures, tests, and tunes PID control loops for motion systems,
ensuring optimal precision and repeatability. • Performs testing,
calibration, diagnostics, and debugging of electronics and control
systems. • Reads and interprets electrical schematics, wiring
diagrams, instrument datasheets, and control logic documentation. •
Identifies electrical faults, signal issues, or control problems
and document findings, contributing to root cause analysis. •
Supports functional test procedures for electrical systems and
ensure system compliance with specification (e.g. signal integrity,
noise, sensor response). • Interfaces with all relevant departments
to coordinates electrical integration and timely delivery. •
Adheres to quality standards in electrical workmanship, wire
routing, labeling, safety compliance. • Maintains a clean,
organized work area; follow ESD, safety, and electrical work
practices. • Supports occasional mechanical tasks (mounting,
alignment) as needed. • Works overtime and weekends to meet
production needs as required. • May be required to travel between
NH and NC sites. • Performs other duties as assigned. Education and
Experience • High school diploma or equivalent. • 2 to 5 years’
experience in electrical assembly, controls, instrumentation, or
related industry. • Experience reading and interpreting electrical
schematics, wiring diagrams, control logic, and sensor datasheets.
• Hands-on experience with motor drive setup, servo tuning, and PID
control loop adjustments. • Strong troubleshooting skills for
electrical circuits, sensors, and control systems. • Comfortable
with calibration, testing, measurement equipment (multimeters,
oscilloscopes, etc.). Competencies • Attention to detail, quality
mindset, and ability to maintain documentation. • Time management
and planning. • Works as an individual contributor or in a team
environment. • Electrical assembly and troubleshooting skills. •
Solid communication skills, both verbal and written. Company
