Job Description:

Work across sales team to generate and help develop new markets and new products. Manage the Product Line and direct the assigned Technical Service personnel. Coordinate goals and strategy. Assists Sales Representatives in presentation of products to customers and broadens the knowledge of products to Sales Representatives and customers. Have direct sales responsibility for select customers. Task and Duties -- - Develop new products for SBU and find new uses for existing products. -- - Assist sales representatives in presentation of products to customers -- - Manages and budgets the assigned Technical Service Representatives -- - Manages assigned customers. -- - Represent Sales/Marketing in R&D and Technical/Customer Service meeting -- - Set goals and strategy including pricing, literature and advertising -- - Contribute to industry and community in manner that improves the corporate image of the Company -- - Perform duties in a professional and safe manner at all times -- - Help develop contacts at machinery and fiber companies, as well as trade organizations. -- - Provide technical counseling as required -- - Participate in strategic planning process -- - Works with the purchasing manager to identify, negotiate, and approves sources for the purchase of key quality raw materials at best costs.Job Requirements:Executing the business development/marketing planDeveloping regional business development strategiesProduce business plans and strategies for new business development opportunitiesGenerate annual development business planSupport overall business development activities for business unitDevelop business cases for new business growthParticipate in business development effortsDevelop business development strategy supporting corporate growth objectivesIdentify new business opportunities in assigned business marketsEnsure business development objectives are aligned with the local office strategic business development initiativesManage the business development pipelineProduce business plans for new product developmentImplement growth-oriented business development and marketing plansConduct ongoing workshops in business development techniques for the business development teamMaintain and develop key business development accounts and respond to all business development opportunitiesLead market assessment of business opportunities both existing business operations and external business opportunitiesDevelop a business plan to maximize new business opportunitiesDevelop and implement business development strategy for growthDevelop local business development strategy and goalsIdentified in the business development plan
