Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:The District Manager, DC, is responsible for
the supervision, inspection, and control of all Project Managers,
Assistant Project Managers, Administrative Assistant, and Quality
Control Managers as it relates to the contract requirement of the
facility to include technical solutions to problem solving along
with timely deliverable submission. The candidate must display
effective leadership and supervision of Site Management to achieve
team cohesion, cooperation, communication, and results - all while
monitoring efficiency and productivity and being fiscally
responsible. The ROM will also be responsible for interpreting
contract specifications, manage and scheduling subcontractors, and
interact with clients in a professional manner as needed. This
person is responsible for monitoring and assuring expected quality
and safety guidelines of the contract.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in the hiring and training of Project Managers,
Quality Control Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Contract
Managers, Administrative Assistant, or any other site level
Managerial Staff
- Oversees the work and schedules or Site Level Management
- Liaison between the site level management and Regional
Operations Manager
- Interpret and execute contractual requirements
- Handles discipline and termination of site level management as
needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Conduct thorough review of task order plans and
specifications
- Coordinate the submittal effort with subcontractors and
material suppliers.
- Issue monthly roll up reports and summaries as required both to
the customer and MFM
- Maintain appropriate records and statistics for administrative
and regulatory purposes
- Resolve clients' concerns, conduct follow-up calls, and conduct
inspections for satisfactory job performance - must possess
excellent communication skills
- Meet weekly with client and onsite personnel to review status
of various elements of services; and, to institute corrective
measures for any deficiencies found
- Place orders and maintain working relationships with
vendors
- Issue reports and summaries as required both to the customer
and MFM. Roll-Up Reports
- Maintain appropriate records and statistics for administrative
and regulatory purposes
- Resolve clients' concerns conduct follow up calls and conduct
inspections for satisfactory job performance must possess excellent
communication skills
- Meet regularly with client's onsite personnel to review status
of various elements of services and to institute corrective
measures for any deficiencies found
- Supervise subcontractors if any
- Create accurate estimates and bids/quotes as needed
- Perform daily QC inspection on all active projects, sending
weekly reports to the government on all active task orders
- Hazard analysis and identification for each feature of work and
generating AHA for each
- Work alongside staff to conduct safety inspections, equipment
inspections, and overall safety plan implementation
- Conduct on-site inspections
- Ensure that all employees comply with MFM safety rules,
policies, regulations, and procedures through monthly
trainings
- Preform any additional duties on an as required basis where
such duties are within the scope of contractual
responsibilitiesABILITIES/SKILLS:
- Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies of
MFM Industries
- Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal
skills
- Superior managerial and diplomacy skills
- Diverse janitorial operations experience to include managing
staff, supplies, equipment, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and
other computer software packages as identified
- Ability to work on a variety of project simultaneously
- Government, education, or large business operations
experience
- Ability to manage diverse workforce.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- At least three years of experience in managing a workforce
providing services on contracts of similar size, scope, and
complexity.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Meet eligibility requirements for access to client computer
systems and/or facilities.SCOPE/COMPLEXITY:Work is conducted in an
office environment and client facilities. May involve general
movement and some lifting. Conditions involve working at a
computer, using telephonic equipment, and interfacing with team
members, supervisory staff, union representatives, and customers.
When at client facilities, must be able to stand for long lengths,
walk, bend, reach, stretch, push, pull, and lift repetitively.
