Global Internship Program:Exciting opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2023 Global Internship Program as a Product Management Intern!As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in STEM+ Business and Healthcare disciplines, and are inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. -In addition to department work, we support your professional development and career exploration through program workshops, leadership speakers, employee resource group introductions, new hire panel discussions and small group 'coffee chats'.Capitalize on a dedicated training and development program that will support your scientific and professional career aspirations, and take pride in delivering work that helps save the lives of millions of people around the world.Product/marketing management intern for the Specialty Medicine business, a key strategic business growth area for Labcorp, focused on clinical areas including neurology, rheumatology, endocrinology, infectious disease, and others. This intern will report into a business segment director, and join and participate in our leadership team. The role will include special projects to deepen understanding of advancements in one or two of these clinical fields, including physician/scientific needs and patient insights, as well as go-to-market effectiveness. Specialty medicine has a robust pipeline of new products and a highly engaged sales team, and the person in this role would be supporting our business in achieving our above market rate growth goals.

Skills utilized may include analysis, interviewing key stakeholders, online research and fact finding on market dynamics, with a defined end project that will require a presentation and read out session. Specific project definition will be modified based on the educational major, area of interest, or specific skills/capabilities of the individual candidate.

The candidate is ideally someone interested in product, business or marketing management, with a focus on healthcare, but it could also be of interest and value to an individual interested in learning more about healthcare in general. We are looking for a confident, resourceful, self-motivated and inquisitive individual who wants to advance their knowledge of business, a clinical area, marketing, and/or experience working in a large company.
