Position Summary We are seeking a Launch Manager to lead cross-functional teams in executing customer application programs from launch (NBAS onwards) through to stable mass production. This role is critical in ensuring that time, quality, and financial performance targets are met while aligning with stakeholder expectations. The Launch Manager will coordinate project planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and resource allocation, driving successful program execution in a dynamic automotive environment. Preferred Qualifications Strong understanding of project governance and assurance practices Experience leading small project teams and mentoring team members Familiarity with change management and post-implementation analysis Ability to navigate organizational dynamics and manage multiple stakeholders effectively Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering 5 years of experience with project or system procedures Demonstrated ability to manage project risks, resources, and schedules independently Proficiency in project communications and benefits management Position Overview The Launch Manager will be responsible for planning and executing program activities aligned with GKN Automotive’s project management framework. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the development of workstream and project plans Organizing stakeholder engagement activities Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues Defining project scope and deliverables Managing project resources and team coordination Ensuring compliance with governance structures Leading assurance reviews and implementing corrective actions Driving engagement and accountability across teams Communicating effectively with diverse audiences Prioritizing tasks to meet organizational goals Empowering teams by removing obstacles and clarifying roles This role requires a driven, collaborative, and principled professional who thrives in complex environments and is committed to delivering results.
