Job Description:

Acts as a member of a high functioning Scrum team to drive generation user experiences. Provides solutions to user story requirements, including automated test scenarios. Analyzes user stories, quality assurance related tasks and test cases, and functional automation. Contributes to the Test Pyramid for product output using Postman API testing application, Selenium browser automation, and JUnit testing framework.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.

Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.

Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

Develops technical modules in support of complex assignments and multi-phase projects.

Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience designing, testing, and delivering software applications, using Test Drive Development (TDD) methodologies according to the pyramid test approach for enterprise applications.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience designing, testing, and delivering software applications, using Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies according to the pyramid test approach for enterprise applications.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) designing and developing automation frameworks that test the front-end (using Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, and Java 8+) and back-end (using Rest-Assured, SOAPUI, Cucumber, JUnit, and Java 8+) of enterprise web applications; and automating processes to assist the release of software to production.

DE designing and implementing front and back-end tests, using Business-Driven Development (BDD) and Test Drive Development (TDD) methodologies; and automating processes to aid in the release of software to production, using Jenkins and Docker.

DE designing and developing RESTful microservices, using Spring Framework, Java8+, SQL, and Oracle database for enterprise applications.

DE analyzing and debugging application and automation infrastructure issues associated with Jenkins jobs, Git, and Bitbucket for enterprise applications; and prioritizing web application issues/defects using Jira project management tool.
