LabCorp is seeking a Lab Services Team Leader to join our busy Special Coagulation department in Burlington, NC! As a member of the Center for Esoteric Testing group, our lab is one of the leading testing laboratories in the United States. This position performs functions of a Senior Technologist as well as coordinates the work of other technologist and technicians for that shift as a Team Lead.The working schedule for this position will be: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performing routine and moderate to complex tests and analysis according to established procedures in designated technical department.
• Evaluates new procedures or methods under direct supervision of department supervisor or group leader.
• Reviewing and assigning work
• Assists in training and orientation of personnel as assigned.
• Overseeing daily operations.
• Administering the quality control program,
• Ensuring that schedule time frames are met,
• Advising management of problem areas,
• Assisting in employee actions,
• Acting as liaison with other departments and customers on technical inquiries and test results. Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or related science.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a clinical laboratory testing. Must Meet CLIA requirements.
  • Supervisory and/or lead experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Must be able to work in a team oriented and fast paced environment.
