*The schedule for this position will be: 3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday, 11:00pm-7:30am. Position is eligible for 15% shift differential due to 3rd shift, hours.*
*Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
* Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
* Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
* Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
* Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
* Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or a related science required
* No clinical diagnostic testing experience required at Technologist Trainee level
* Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems are a plus
