Job Description:

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Physician to work locum shifts in Wilson North Carolina (NC). Starting as soon as possible, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology role:

• Seeking hospital call coverage only for 1 weekend a month starting with the weekend of 5/23. This need is critical to ensure the unit remains open.
• Strong unit and provider support.
• 650 deliveries/year Skills required:
  • low risk pregnancy
  • high risk pregnancy
  • FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
  • OB Ultrasounds
  • Amniocentesis
  • Routine deliveries, including vaginal, decision making for C-sections
  • Complicated deliveries, including c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions
  • Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
  • Surgical Gyn
  • Laser certification Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
    • NC state license; active, unrestricted
    • Board certified OBGYN
    • NC State DEA
    • BLS and ACLS
    • Covid Vaccination- Required or Medical Exemption Benefits:
