Pay Information $3,141 per week About The Position Job Title: RN -
Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift
Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of
Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum experience required.
License: Current Registered Nurse license. Certifications: BLS,
ACLS, EFM, NRP required. Must-Have: Experience with all aspects of
Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum patient care. Experience
circulating in C-sections. Experience with newborn care, including
heel sticks, 24-hour testing, NAS scoring, and lactation support.
Experience in postpartum care and newborn resuscitation (NRP).
Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the
Labor and Delivery/Postpartum unit. The unit consists of triage
rooms, labor-delivery-recovery rooms, mother-baby rooms, and a
C-section suite. Patient diagnoses commonly include obstetric and
gynecological surgical cases. The nursing ratio adheres to AWHONN
guidelines. Nurses will be required to support unit operations,
which may include performing receptionist and patient registration
duties, charge nurse responsibilities, and case management.
Traveling RN may float to various facilities within the region as
necessary. Traveling nursing staff will be compensated for time
spent traveling between facilities if required to float mid-shift.
The hospital utilizes EPIC as the electronic medical record system
and employs various medical equipment. Nurses should be prepared to
work weekends and a significant portion of holidays during their
contract period. Requests for time off may be submitted, but
approval is limited, and additional time may be added to the
