qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in High Point, North Carolina,

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring,
cardiac strip and rhythm interpretation, arterial lines, titration
of drips, ventilator care, vascular lines, chest tubes, post
procedure site care, CRRT, post pulmonary artery thrombectomy
Description: Community-based hospital with 304 licensed beds.
Teaching status includes interns, residents, advanced practice
providers, and nursing students. Accredited as a Chest Pain Center
and designated as a Primary Stroke Center. Unit consists of 20 beds
with an average daily census of 18. Patient types include general
medical patients requiring advanced hemodynamics and continuous
monitoring. Patients requiring respiratory support include those
with medium or high flow oxygen devices, non-invasive positive
pressure ventilation, or ventilator support. Renal failure patients
with continuous renal replacement therapy capabilities are treated.
The unit also manages severe sepsis with hemodynamic instability
and IV resuscitation. Patients post general, vascular, or thoracic
surgery may require continuous cardiac, respiratory, or hemodynamic
support, including pharmacological vasopressor support. Capable of
managing cardiac arrest cases requiring targeted temperature
management. Neuro-medical cases such as stroke, with or without
specific treatments, and trauma cases involving neurosurgical
interventions are handled. Management of DKA/HHNK with insulin
drips and titrations is practiced. The RN to patient ratio in the
ICU is 1:2, with a special high acuity ratio of 1:1 for certain
cases. Intermediate overflow patients may have an RN to patient
ratio of 1:3 or 1:4 depending on interventions. Nurse technician
support and charge nurse resources are available. Continuous
cardiac monitoring is the responsibility of the RN. The department
has support staff including nurse technicians, charge nurses, and
rapid response teams. Technology used in the unit includes EMRs, IV
pumps, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring systems. Team culture
