Registered Nurse position available in the Progressive Care Unit.
This is a 26-week assignment with flexible start dates and shift
options. All travelers may request assignments ranging from 14 to
26 weeks. Unit assignment will be determined by facility needs
after clinical evaluation. Currently, the nurse-to-patient ratio is
1:5, with a goal of 1:4. Travelers are expected to float as needed
within their acuity. Compliance documentation is due prior to the
start of the assignment. Travelers are required to work at least
one holiday during each 13-week assignment. For winter holidays,
travelers are required to work two holidays. Candidates residing
within 100 miles of the facility will be considered local and will
not be accepted. Previous employees must be gone for a minimum of
one year before returning to work as a traveler. The facility does
not allow travelers to return after they have worked on assignment
for 365 days. Completion of orientation modules is required within
the first 24 hours. Modules may be completed pre-start or during
orientation, and the hours may vary based on specialty. Orientation
is 24 hours in total.
