Job Title: Resource Pool Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: PCU Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Epic experience required Traveler must be comfortable working all PCU and MS units Compliance documents required prior to start Description: This position is for a Resource Pool Registered Nurse. The assignment duration is 13 weeks. The schedule consists of 3-4 night shifts per week. The nurse will float between Progressive Care Units and Medical Surgical Units. Staffing needs will be assessed every 4 hours, potentially requiring shifts to change. Patient ratios in PCU are 5:1, and in MS are 6/7:1. All requests for time off must be submitted upfront. Travelers are required to work at least 1 holiday per assignment, with additional holiday requirements during winter holidays. Local candidates are not accepted; a specified distance from the facility applies. Previous travelers must be away for a year before returning. Travelers must not have worked consecutively for a year to be eligible for reapplication. Additional policies regarding return travelers and separation periods are in effect. Modules for orientation are required but non-billable. Completion of modules may take place pre-start or during orientation.
