Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a local contract CT Technologist for a local contract job in Matthews, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 52 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract CT Technologist I Department: Radiology Full Time Sign on Bonus & Relocation Bonus offered Job Summary: Performs CT procedures per department protocols and standards. Operates CT scanners and related equipment safely and proficiently. Ensures patient safety, accurate imaging, and quality care throughout the exam process. Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (2-year AMA/ARRT). - ARRT (Radiology) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine) required. - Advanced ARRT CT registry within 1 year of hire. - Current CPR certification. - IV/contrast certification required for venous contrast. - 1–2 years’ Diagnostic Radiology experience or 1 year CT scanning experience. Key Responsibilities: - Verify and review orders; clarify discrepancies with Radiologist/provider. - Identify patients using two identifiers; explain and prepare for procedures. - Obtain and document medical history; review EMR for relevant information. - Perform CT scans, administer IV contrast per protocol. - Evaluate images for technical quality; process additional images as needed. - Assist in invasive CT procedures, maintain sterile technique. - Follow all radiation safety and infection control guidelines. - Report equipment issues promptly; maintain clean work area. - Assist other medical staff (e.g., anesthesia) as needed.
