Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2 years License: Certification required to work as an RRT Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS Must-Have: Previous respiratory therapy experience Description: Compassionately pursue the health and well-being of patients through a culture of exceptional service and commitment to quality. Provide quality healthcare services as part of a well-organized healthcare delivery system. Facility includes acute care, ambulatory care, and emergency services. Engage with patients and lead quality innovation to improve health in the community. Offers various areas of specialty care including cardiac rehabilitation, emergency services, orthopedic services, and pain management. Facility features a cardiopulmonary department with a number of beds. Patient ratios are not applicable. Equipment used includes ventilators, BiPAPs, and ABGs. Electronic health record system is utilized. Supervision provided by the director of cardiopulmonary services. Patient population includes individuals of all ages. Prior experience working with all age groups is preferred. Ability to work independently when needed is desirable. Common diagnoses and treatments involve various respiratory issues. Professional attire is required, with any unprofessional attire prohibited in a clinical care setting.
