Schedule Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) with a patient ratio of 1:5 during days and nights. Job Description The Cardiac Medical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in managing cardiac patients. The unit specializes in the care of patients with conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure, Acute Coronary Syndrome, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac catheterization care. Comprehensive respiratory support for conditions like COPD and pneumonia is also a focus. Responsibilities Perform cardiac monitoring and emergency responses, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Manage and monitor cardiac and vasoactive drips, including titration as required. Provide care for patients with chest tubes, external CPAP/BIPAP, and tracheostomy management. Administer and monitor procedural sedation. Conduct pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care. Oversee IV therapy including peripheral and PICC line management. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac PCU is required. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory; NIHSS certification is preferred.
