ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED -
Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Burlington, North
Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency

36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel
Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts
from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Occasionally work 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
shifts when needed • Up to every other weekend and holiday coverage
as required • No call responsibilities • Patient ratio of 4:1 for
all shifts • Care for all age groups from neonates to geriatrics •
Handle approximately 180 visits per day in a 58-bed emergency
department • Minimum 2 years of experience required, first-time
travelers accepted • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
• EPIC charting system experience required • STEMI and Stroke
facility experience required • Must pass EKG exam during compliance
(2 attempts allowed) • Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and
unexcused absences • Complete 36 hours of orientation • Care for
special populations including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies,
and behavioral health patients • Work with interdisciplinary
support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services,
and pharmacy • May be required to float to other campuses within
the health system if needed • Complete non-billable modules
averaging 2-4 hours during orientation Facility: This regional
medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility featuring
specialized services including a cardiac catheterization lab,
women's health services, and stroke care. The emergency department
is a STEMI and stroke certified facility that handles a high volume
of patients with diverse medical needs. The facility maintains
advanced capabilities for treating complex cases including trauma,
neurological emergencies, and behavioral health patients, supported
by a full range of ancillary services and interdisciplinary teams.
