Pay Information $2,036 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: EPIC experience required Description: Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Room. This role requires caring for patients of all ages. The department handles various special care populations including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health. There is a mandatory EKG exam requirement for all RNs. The nurse will be responsible for managing a variety of critical cases including trauma and medical emergencies. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and adhere strictly to punctuality and attendance policies. The department averages a patient ratio of 4 patients per nurse. Candidates will float to other units as needed. Experience with blood product administration, central line care, and IV sedation is required. Familiarity with trauma level facilities is preferred. Candidates must be prepared to work weekends and holidays as necessary. The position requires the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and perform triage duties.
