Minimum of 1 year direct wound care experience required License:
Active Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS
required Must-Have: - EPIC experience required - Previous charge
nurse experience preferred - Direct wound care experience required
- Clinic experience preferred Description: The Registered Nurse
will provide specialized nursing care in the area of wound care.
Candidates must be knowledgeable in nutritional status, pressure
ulcers, venous ulcers, necrotic debris, melanoma, cellulitis, and
edema. Expertise in assessing and managing neuropathic and
peripheral arterial ulcers is essential. The role requires
assessment and management of pressure ulcers, including staging
from Stage 1 to Stage 4. Experience with various wound care
products and therapies, including alginates, enzymatic debriding
agents, hydrocolloids, hydrogels, and vacuum-assisted closure, is
necessary. Candidates must possess skills in infection control and
perform wound cultures as needed. This position will require
compliance with all outlined regulations and performance standards.
Successful candidates will demonstrate flexibility in scheduling
and willingness to adhere to policies regarding attendance and
