More about our team 5A is an acute care medical surgical unit On a typical day, 5A has 24 patients with a 1:6 nurse/patient ratio and 1:10 CA/nurse ratio We serve the general population of hospitalized patients with a variety of conditions The conditions include illnesses, surgery, testing and observation patients We take care of patients with comorbidities like diabetes, hypertension, stroke, renal and psychiatric issues While caring for our patients is the focus, 5A boast a strong team environment, improved nurse communication and commitment to SOVAH Health's core value How you will contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient Performs timely and accurate QI assessments Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
