Job Description:
Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician Needed Near Broadway,
NC (j-227405) Are you a motivated Emergency Medicine physician
seeking a locum tenens opportunity to provide exceptional care in a
dynamic outpatient and inpatient setting? We're seeking a qualified
physician to join our team and ensure high-quality patient care
during a one-month staffing need. What You'll Do: Provide standard
solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour shifts, assessing and
treating patients with a variety of acute illnesses and injuries.
Collaborate effectively with mid-level providers to deliver
comprehensive patient care. Utilize your clinical expertise to make
diagnoses, develop treatment plans, and stabilize patients as
needed. Maintain meticulous documentation within the Meditech
electronic medical record system. Foster a positive and

Board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine
(preferred). Active medical license in the state of North Carolina
(NC only). Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and ATLS.
Minimum two weeks for credentialing. Strong clinical skills and a
comprehensive knowledge base in Emergency Medicine. Excellent
communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to
work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Additional
Information: Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing (assignment ends September
30, 2024) Coverage includes major holidays (New Year's Day,
Memorial Day, etc.) NC Medicaid/Medicare credentialing and PECOS
enrollment highly preferred. Must possess a DEA with a North
Carolina address. New providers must attend a mandatory 4-hour
in-person orientation during business hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM -
