RN Job Details/n /n - Location: High Point, NC 27262 (North
Carolina nursing jobs)/n - Unit: 36-bed Neuro-Telemetry Progressive
Care Unit (IMC Stroke Unit)/n - Assignment Length: 13-week travel
nursing contract (10/13/2025 – 1/10/2026)/n - Shift: 12-hour day
shifts (07:00 – 19:30), 36 hours/week/n - Estimated Weekly Salary:
$1470 - $1570 per week/n - Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend/n
- Holiday Coverage: Travelers work 75% of holidays during
assignment/n - Scrub Color: Royal Blue/n - Free Parking Available/n
/n/nPCU Registered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active Registered
Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state)/n - Minimum 1
year of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or intermediate care
nursing experience (travel RN experience required)/n - BLS, ACLS,
and NIHSS certifications (current)/n - Strong neuro assessment and
escalation skills/n - Advanced telemetry skills, including rhythm
analysis and monitoring/n - Experience administering and titrating
hemodynamic drips (Cardizem, Heparin, Insulin, Neo, Nitro, Amio)/n
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Encompass/EPIC preferred)/n -
First-time travel nurses are not eligible for this position/n
/n/nPCU RN Responsibilities/n /n - Provide high-quality nursing
care to patients with stroke, heart failure, TIA, sepsis, syncope,
AKI, chest pain, and other intermediate diagnoses/n - Monitor,
interpret, and escalate telemetry rhythm changes as needed/n -
Administer and titrate hemodynamic drips per hospital protocols/n -
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including
CNAs, charge nurses, phlebotomy, respiratory therapists, and
hospitalists/n - Utilize advanced clinical equipment such as Baxter
IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Philips MX-40
monitors/n - Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical
education to maintain best practices/n - Float to sister units
(CTU) as required, maintaining consistent patient ratios/n - Ensure
accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and
