Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 02/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapist – NICU / Pediatrics Shift & Scheduling Shift: Nights Hours: 19:00 – 07:00 Schedule: 4x12s (Primary) 3x12s (7p–7a) available if requested Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend OR 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling block Holiday Requirement: 1 holiday per 13-week contract RTO / Special Requests: Must be submitted with profile Call-Off Policy: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Charting EMR: Epic (required) Traveler & Licensing Requirements First-Time Travelers Accepted: Yes 1 year of travel experience preferred Locals Accepted: Yes (radius rule applies – see submittal instructions) Pending License Accepted: Yes Must be a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the VA State Board of Medicine Other state licenses accepted but 90-day temporary VA authorization is required while permanent VA license is processed Required Certifications BLS NRP PALS RRT – Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) CRT not accepted About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
