X-Ray Tech Location: Raleigh, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,955 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Profession: Technologist Specialty: Radiologic Technologist Duration: 8 Shift: Afternoons Sat, Sun, Mon Hours per Shift: 12:00 PM - Midnight Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Active Driver's License Required Certifications: ARRT Required Must-Have: ARRT Certification Description: Serves over 7,500 care facilities nationwide. The role involves being on the move, ensuring job security, and collaborating with a great team. Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG (if applicable) services to nursing homes and other healthcare facilities. Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment. Submit and transmit images to a Radiologist for interpretation. Unload portable X-Ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician. Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images. Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation, if required. Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol. Regularly communicate with dispatch and management. Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients. Maintain the vehicle and X-Ray equipment. Physical demands include pushing or pulling weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs. Use vehicle ramps and pulleys to decrease the weight when applicable. Pushing or pulling may require 50 lbs of force or more, occurring 16 to 24 times a day. Learn more about a day in the life in this position through available resources.
