We're looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client’s facility! Dental Hygienist Details - No weekends required - 8 or 10 hour day shifts available depending on the facility Dental Hygienist Duties - Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, fluoride treatments, and other preventative dental procedures - Conduct comprehensive oral assessments to evaluate the inmates’ oral health status, dental conditions, and record findings in inmate charts - Administer periodontal therapy, including subgingival scaling, root debridement, and periodontal maintenance procedures, to treat and manage periodontal disease. - Capture dental radiographs as needed, ensuring proper positioning and exposure settings, and interpret images to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. - Provide individualized oral hygiene instructions to inmates, emphasizing proper brushing and flossing techniques, nutritional counseling, and strategies for maintaining oral health. - Assist with dental emergencies within the facility Dental Hygienist Qualifications - Graduation from an accredited educational institution - Licensed as a Dental Hygienist by the State in which the position is located.
