Contract Position (August 21, 2023 May 26, 2024) A Speech Language
Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2023-2024 school
year to support middle school students with mild to moderate speech
and language needs. This on-site position involves a full-time,
Monday through Friday schedule, serving a caseload of approximately
38 students. Responsibilities: - Provide evaluation, assessment,
and therapy services aligned with individualized education program
(IEP) goals - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
to support student communication development - Maintain accurate
documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and
state regulations - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
and contribute to intervention planning Qualifications and
Experience: - NC State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
through ASHA - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required;
Clinical Fellows considered - Previous experience working in a
school setting preferred - Strong interpersonal and communication
skills to effectively engage with students and educational staff
