working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Charlotte,
North Carolina, 28204! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

Current Nursing License required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS
Must-Have: Must have teamwork approach and meet behavioral
expectations in all interactions with patients and staff. Must
adhere to call-off policy. Description: RTO after booking is not
allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or
additional RTO on the unit could possibly result in a cancellation.
The unit will accept first-time travelers. Teamwork and
collaboration with all staff are essential. The patient population
consists of intermediate neurological patients and medical
intermediate patients. Telemetry, ventilator care, IV start, and
drip management are required skills. Candidates must be comfortable
floating to other intermediate areas and critical care. Weekend
coverage is required; 3 weekends every 6 weeks. Must be willing to
work major holidays such as Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and New
Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Unit orientation includes hands-on and
computer training. Expected patient ratios during shifts will be
1:4 on average. The average daily census for the unit may reach up
to 24 patients. Experience with triage, ICP, conscious sedation,
and charge nurse duties is preferred. Additional certifications
such as CCRN, TNCC, and CPI are beneficial. Candidate must complete
EKG testing prior to start for this specialty. Adherence to all
policies and a focus on patient-centered care are essential. This
role requires effective communication and collaboration within a
