System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (MedSurg/Telemetry)
to join the 6th Floor MedSurg unit at UNC Health Wayne in
Goldsboro, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who
enjoys a collaborative environment, professional growth, and caring
for a diverse adult patient population. Position Overview - Job
Title: RN – MedSurg / Tele - Unit: 6th Floor – Adult MedSurg (48
beds) - Openings: 1 - Patient Ratio: 1:6 - Admissions: 3–4 per day
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks - Schedule: 3 shifts/week, 12-hour
nights - Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM - Weekends: Every other -
Holidays: Every other - On-Call: May be placed on standby 1 shift
per pay period if census drops Requirements - 2 year of nursing
experience - Active North Carolina RN license - BLS certification
(AHA or ARC) - NIHSS & CPI-A (per unit compliance) - Ability to
thrive in a fast-paced MedSurg environment - Flexible,
team-oriented mindset Education - Required: Nursing Diploma, ADN,
