Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Lynchburg, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/28/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel OR RN Start Dates: 2/23, 3/9 Orientation: Every other Monday only Assignment Type: 10-hour day shifts (assignments end on Saturdays) Position Details Role: Operating Room RN – Orthopedic Services Schedule: 4 × 10-hour day shifts On-Call Requirements: 1–2 weeknight call shifts per week 3 weekend call shifts (24-hour Sat/Sun) per 10-week period Call response time: 30 minutes Guaranteed Hours: 40/week Client Cancellation Policy: Facility may cancel up to 36 hours per assignment due to census Candidate Requirements Prior travel experience REQUIRED (mandatory for all Centra positions) Strong orthopedic OR background required Minimum 2 years experience in relevant specialty BLS required Active VA or Compact RN license required at submission Cerner experience preferred All RTO must be included at time of submission IVS to manager Local & Vaccine Policy Locals: Not accepted COVID/Flu: Centra accepts approved declinations About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
