love for seniors and a respect for the needs of older adults. (You
should too!) They are focused on providing high-quality, direct
patient care through standard healthcare practices, including
administering prescribed medications and treatments, conducting
patient assessments, monitoring vital signs, and helping with
diagnostic tests. *All shifts available! Household LPN The
household nurse performs nursing functions within the household
that require at minimum a licensed practical nurse, including
passing medications or, observing residents' condition and
communicating them to the Nurse Leader, the registered nurse in
house or the physician as needed. The household nurse works closely
with the Nurse Leader to ensure regulatory compliance, nurture a
person-centered and resident-directed culture, strengthen the
ability of the household to grow as a separate effective home and
promote individual and team learning in the household. Household
nurses participate in teaching and role-modeling of professional
nursing practices to household staff and resident advocates for
quality clinical care. They provide each resident with routine
daily nursing care and other desired services in accordance with
their assessment, choices and plan of care. Minimal Education:
Graduate of accredited school of practical nursing Minimal
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year nursing experience One (1) year
skilled nursing facility experience preferred Other Qualifications:
1. Must meet regulatory requirements for licensure as practical
nurse in home state. 2. Specialized training or experience in
geriatric nursing is desirable. 3. CPR certified. 4. Must have
demonstrated leadership qualities, interpersonal relationship
skills, and knowledge of federal and state regulations governing
clinical care and nursing practice. 5. Commitment to person
centered and resident directed care is essential. 6. Will comply
with all federal and state regulatory requirements to maintain
licensure as nurse.
