registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience

be considered. An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse
skilled in neuro step-down care, working in a supportive,
multidisciplinary environment dedicated to post-surgical
neurological patients. This contract role is based in Statesville,
NC, providing hands-on nursing care on a 20-bed Neuro Progressive
Post-Surgical Unit. Candidates can expect a rewarding experience
caring for adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as
stroke, traumatic brain injury, brain cancer, craniotomy, and spine
or neck surgery. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing
care to neurological post-surgical patients with a patient ratio of
5:1. Utilize clinical skills and teamwork to support recovery in
collaboration with the care team. Monitor and assess patients using
advanced equipment including Masimo vital sign monitors and Zoll
devices. Document care accurately using Cerner electronic health
records. Participate in unit activities with a positive,
personable, and engaging attitude. Qualifications and Experience:
Current RN licensure. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience,
preferably in neuroscience or neuro step-down units. Required
certifications: ACLS and BLS. Familiarity with NIH Stroke Scale
(NIHSS) and neuro patient care. Strong teamwork skills; leadership
qualities are a plus. Comfortable supporting adult and geriatric
populations. Adherence to dress code and professional standards.
Schedule and Location: PM shift, 36 guaranteed weekly hours.
Weekend hours totaling 72 in 6 weeks. No call requirements.
Location: Statesville, NCa welcoming community known for its rich

cultural attractions. This contract position offers a chance to
