Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. This opportunity is for an experienced occupational therapist specializing in school-based services, working one day a week in Chapel Hill, NC. The role involves providing therapy to students in grades 3 through 8 within an educational setting, supporting their functional participation and success in the classroom. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized occupational therapy services tailored to the unique needs of students in grades 3-8 Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating a supportive learning environment Desired Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based practice Strong understanding of pediatric therapeutic needs and educational goals Ability to manage caseload efficiently in a limited time frame Excellent communication and collaboration skills Position Details: Contract assignment based at a school location in Chapel Hill, NC One day per week: Tuesday, 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM Actively interviewing candidates immediately This role offers the opportunity to impact student outcomes directly through focused, goal-oriented interventions, contributing to their overall academic and personal development.
