Job Description ProKatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: /nMinimum Years of Experience: 2 Yrs /nTraveler Experience: Unit WILL Accept 1st time travelers /nLocals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes /nSkills: Conscious Sedation, Telemetry. Must also understand IR procedures including stroke. /nCerts: ACLS, BCLS, NIH /n /nPREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: PALS, Circulate, Vents. /n /nJOB DETAILS: /nTarget Ratios: 16 cases per day with three IR rooms and pre and post coverage in RPPU (Radiology Pre Post Unit) as needed. /n*40 Hours Can Be Offered /nShift: 4x10HR 7a-17:30p, MONDAY - FRIDAY schedule /n13 Weeks Requested! /nCALL Requirement: Have to be at Hospital within 30 minutes, 1 week of backup then Primary on Thursday so 8 call days in a 10-12 week time tract/period. Could possibly be on call one Holiday (primary or Back up). /nCall is from the end of the shift until 0700. Backup call will back up the call person from the end of shift until 0700. /nOn the weekends it is 24 hour call and backup call. Saturday and Sunday 0700-0700. Call is on a rotational basis. We are on call for emergencies and to wrap up the day. /nIf call person that day gets sick we use a fill list which you would be on as well. (not used often) /nFLOAT Requirement: NONE. /nWEEKEND Requirement: Weekends required based on call rotation. /n /nPATIENT DIAGNOSES: We are a tertiary care center /n /nSPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Workload is M-F /n /nSPECIAL EQUIPMENT: NONE /n /nUNIT SYSTEMS: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR /n /nSCHEDULING TYPE: MANAGER SCHEDULES /n /nUNIT ORIENTATION: 8 hours, Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day. /n /nSCRUBS: Scrubs are provided (ceil blue) /n /nINTERVIEW AVAILABILITY: Please provide your candidate's interview availability for the next 72 hours while submitting.
