Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,913 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28203! Job Title: RN - MedSurg/Tele Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: MedSurg/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (1900-0700) Experience: Minimum of 2 years Med/Tele RN experience preferred License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: General Med/Tele skillset including stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, and drain/tube management. Medication management skills including cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, and IV fluids. Description: Position available for an RN specializing in MedSurg/Tele. The facility is a Level I trauma center with a focus on high acuity patients. The unit has 36 beds and provides care for patients with spinal surgeries, strokes, seizures, brain tumors, and other complex medical conditions. Patient ratios are typically 1:4-6, depending on acuity, with possible increases to 1:7-8 during surge staffing. Support staff includes charge nurses, respiratory therapists, and hospitalists available 24/7. Nurses are responsible for reading telemetry monitors and responding as necessary. Floating to other units and facilities within scope of practice may be required. Weekend rotation is every other weekend, and travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays. RTO can be approved for up to 6 days off, excluding holidays.
