Job Description Come grow at Carilion Clinic as BC/BE fellowship trained breast imaging Radiologist at our practice in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Roanoke, VA. $150 million new cancer center – ground breaking occurred on 10/30/2024 with completion date in 2027 $400 million expansion tower to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital - scheduled to open in 2025 New 80,000 sq ft outpatient pediatric clinic opened in 2021 New 37,000 sq ft mental health clinic opened in 2023 Currently have state certificate of public need (COPN) approval to install 4 new CT scanners (2 in Roanoke and 2 at regional hospitals) and 1 new MRI scanner (Roanoke) Year-over-year increases in imaging volume Compensation and Other Benefits: Compensation: $500,000.00 per year base with potential to make $600,000.00 per year after bonuses Professional development fund: $7200.00 per year Retirement plans: 403(b), 457(b), and true defined-benefit pension plan $10,000.00 moving allowance Fringe benefits: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Plan, Short Term Disability, Term Life Insurance, Healthcare and Childcare Flexible Spending Accounts Carilion is a not-for-profit healthcare organization and therefore physicians are eligible to participate in the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Virginia is a tort reform state.
