Job Description Medical Director (Psychiatrist)- Matthews - NC
Position: Medical Director (Psychiatrist) Location: Matthews, NC.
Shifts: 15 hours per week. Part-time Healthcare Setting:
Rehabilitation Centre (Inpatient) Responsibilities: - Provide
clinical leadership and oversight for the psychiatric department,
ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance
with best practices and regulatory standards. - Lead and supervise
a team of psychiatric providers, including psychiatrists,
psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other mental health
professionals. - Develop and implement clinical policies,
protocols, and treatment guidelines to optimize patient outcomes
and ensure consistency of care. - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and integrate
psychiatric services with other medical specialties.
Qualifications: - Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited
medical school. - Board certification in Psychiatry. - Active state
medical license and DEA registration. - Minimum of 1 years of
clinical experience practicing psychiatry.
