Job Description HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is
seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a
local contract nursing job in Salem, Virginia. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline:
RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours,
days, flexible - Employment Type: Local Contract Must have:
candidates without these skills will not be considered for the
role. - BLS - Pre op and Post op experience in Ambulatory Surgery
Dept., Good IV stick Preferred or nice to have: candidates with
these skills will be considered first. - ACLS List typical
procedures performed on unit(s): - Pre op patients, prep patients
for surgery, post op care - Pre op care of and post op care of:
Interventional patients, CT bx, Open heart patients- pre op, Total
joint, Choley, Urology surgeries, children- teeth and tonsillectomy
surgeries, spine surgery, hysterectomy, etc… Best personality Fit:
- Team player, able to multi-task, quick learner, self-starter,
flexible with schedule, excellent bedside manner, REQUIRED
CERTIFICATIONS: - BLS required, ACLS and PALS preferred Floating
Area(s): - Possible to assist ENDO to pre op patients- start IV’s
Per diem positions are available as well. The per diem requirement
is 3 shifts per month. No weekend or holiday requirements.
